stayed there a few weeks ago....wonderful hotel, staff are fantastic, leong at the pool bar is just the best, say hi to him from craig and vicki if you remember.
there is a shuttle that goes in 9 11 1 3 and 5 it takes about 20 mins and drops you at bemo corner, however, if you walk to the top of legian street and cab it you will be there quicker and it will only cost $1 or so... better way to go if you can be bothered walking. the pool overlooks the ocean and is just the most awesome sight. Room service and the restaurant at the Pelangi are very very cheap and good meals. You have lots of restaurants on dyna pura street. Rooms were a good size very comfortable beds, nice decor.
You realy cant beat the pool and resturant for sitting and enjoying the sights and sounds of bali...I thorougly recomend Pelangi. There are shops around, but I still found most things in the legain kuta area...
