and love both. Thais are much less pushy and agressive, you say no to a thai and it is accepted.
Thai food i prefer, but Balinese and thai food are both cheap,around the same price.
Shopping is cheap, same as Bali price wise, but i think thai is better quality.
Weather was great, but i believe is just as hot as bali if you go in the wet season (which is opposite to bali).
Hotels and drinks were about the same as bali too.
I visited Bangkok and Pattaya ( Bangkok not for relaxing, just shopping).
I go to both Bali and Thailand. I like a change. Difference for me is Thailand is 7 1/2 hours and Bali is 3 1/2 hours, so i tend to go to bali alot LOL.
