at Kuta where you buy Tshirts, clothes, paintings, Louis Vitton bags, perfume etc, they are about 15 minutes walk from the Dynasty but there are plenty of shops to look at on the way and they new Discovery Mall is now open. Once you get to the markets there is plenty to see and buy. 5 minutes on from there is Matahari centre which is a department store and across the road from that is more boutique type shops which sell Billibong, Quicksilver, Versace and other designers. These are generally not fakes but are still cheaper than those versions in Australia.
Your first afternoon there will be a bit of culture shock because everyone sort of rushes you to try and sell you things but if you have a bit of a joke with them and remember that they are just trying to make a living, you will get into the spirit of things and should have a wonderful time.
Shop till ya drop and have a great holiday.
