We just check our own chair in with our baggage. We have been 4 times & it has not been damaged yet. The airport in Aust. & Bali have chairs to use after yours has been checked in. You also get through immigration much quicker in Denpasar as you dont have to line up with everone else. Now that the footpaths have been repaired (the main ones anyway) it is much easier in Bali with a chair.
