Overall, fine. Rooms large (get a superior I think), pools good, food ordinary - just eat breakfast there eg eggs. But Bamboo Corner bar just down the street is vastly superior - I just about lived there - ate 3 meals there on last day.
And while some shops are within walking distance, Kuta is a taxi ride away - altho I hired a m/bike.
Overall, for a family break, MBR fine. But if yu want to see the action, maybe somewhere nearer Kuta.
