We arrived after being picked up at the airport to the most amazing surprise !!! We never knew what to expect so the first thing we got to see is the magnificent rice fields and the total quiet !!! We pulled up at these amazing gates and where welcomed by the staff and taken to the villa . There are four villas in the compound but you would never guess it as you don't see the others , you have total privacy . Two are owned and 1 is Mary's the other is hardly ever used . Ani Ani is for hire and so is a 2 bedroom one . The gardens are magnificent and the pool is unbelievable. The villa itself is divine you walk in and the lounge area is all open plan and has the most amazing furniture . There is a kitchen down stairs that has everything you need and 2 bedrooms are also there with 2 bathrooms .
The beds are all amazing four poster huge beds with great furniture in all rooms. Upstairs is the master bedroom which looks out onto the rice fields and has a deck and a huge open bathroom . There is also a huge walkin wardrobe. The staff are amazing and Ibu Wayan is the head girl she will be your contact person and she arranges food , drivers or anything you want . She cooked our first meal that night as we arrived late and she will fax a menu to you to choose your meal . She is a brillant Italian cook and the indonesian is to die for . We went shopping with her the first day and picked all our needs and then just left money for her to shop when we needed stuff . We left a $200 dollar tip at the end to be shared around the staff . They wash for you each day and iron and put everything back . Nothing is too much for them . It is on a gorgeous road called Umalas Kauh about a $3.00 taxi ride to the best restaurants on Laksmanasa rd near the Oberoi . It is really handy to Seminyak where I believe is the best shopping as all the wholesalers are there. The staff will point you to the best and you won,t be sorry . Taxi pick you up at your gate and never take more than 10 minutes to come . We paid $150.00 australian per night for 2 adults + 1 child . It was fantastic the best holiday I have ever had . We are going again in July but we have 3 families and are staying at Canggu . We will be back again to Ani Ani soon .It felt like we lived there and the villages around the area are great , very safe . The Umalas horse riding is around the corner and you must do a ride or go and see how amazing the stables and grounds are . What can I say , have a great time I guarantee you will and you will only ever stay in villas again it is an amazing experience !!!
