We were there for Nyepi Day at the MBR. This year we will be at the KP. We hired a DVD player so we could watch movies. The pool area was very busy. In the afternoon staff came around and stuck newspaper over the windows and guests were asked to only use bed side lamps. Nobody can leave the hotel grounds at all. We had a good day, it's quite different to be in Bali and not hear all the noises that you normally hear every day.
It's a good idea to stock up on food and drinks. The MBR had a buffet dinner but you had to get there and eat before dark. We got there late and it was disgusting. I dont know what it would have been like if we got there a bit earlier.
