Hi there. You have made a good choice of hotel. We love it and the whole area. Out the back door to the beach and there is a row of restaurants which are all good and reasonable.
K.P. is next door to Jayakarta.
If you want to change money, there is a Kodak shop almost opposite Jayakarta on the street side one off the corner of Jln. Rum Jungle and these very nice people will not rip you off or even try to.
Further down Rum Jungle Road on the left hand side near the intersection with Jln Legian is our good friend Muhdani's shop. "Dani Collection" He sells shell jewellery and silver. His wife and Mum in law make the majority of his stuff. He is really easy to deal with and speaks good English. He's worked his way up in the 10 years we have known him from selling hats on the beach to selling watches on the beach and now to his shop. A real gentleman.
