We stayed at that hotel in October last year in a Deluxe Villa, they also have superior villas and no not all the villas have been updated although they were working on them doing one at a time. Why dont you email them to find out which villas have been updated and request one of those, although they will not guarantee you get the one that you request but it may be worth a try.
