I stayed there in November 2004 and it was OK. I am not staying there again mainly because the room service was crap (and before anyone jumps on my back, yes we tipped the maid on the first day). Our friends next door waited 4 days for their bin to be emptied, and we were not keen on being woken up early each morning from the noise of the staff outside our room. Other than those minor difficulties (which we chose not to complain to management about) the place was great. The hawkers on the beach are really nice when you get to know them - the best part of our stay there.
