We have stayed at hard Rock our last three trips, over the last three years and return again in June this year.
We normally split our stay and spend the last week at Hard Rock, with the other three weeks in Tuban or Sanur.
The location of the hotel is great. The pool is the best there is - it is huge with sand island, small water slides, cabanas and swim up bar. The cabanas are 100 000 Rupiah per day to hire, but well worth it. Have two day beds, small table and chairs, curtains, fan cooled and phone connection to the bar / restauarant - they will serve you on roller blades or one wheel bikes. Most cabanas have direct pool access, via ladder or steps. You normally need to book a day or so ahead.
The prices for food and drink are expensive, but the qaulity good. If this is the only place you are staying, make sure you venture out ot he many other great restaurants on offer (and they are generally cheaper).
The rooms are average. Very tired, but do the job.
Not sure what age the Kids CLub goes up to, but our kids (aged 7 and 4) love it. There are heaps of activities for their age group.
There is a gym, a small games arcade (incl. billiards) and heaps of other fun things to do.
If you have any questions let us know, we know this place quite well.
