I weigh 78 kilos. My lady friend is a very petite size 7. The airline does OK out of us weightwise, even if they do allow us to take excess donation baggage. I would not for one minute suggest that the individual baggage allowance should relate to the personal weight of the passenger, that would be both unfair and unworkable, but I'm sure the airlines have a fair idea of the average weight of passengers from various countries, so they would generally know what to expect.
A bit of give and take is normal in business, just as it is in every other facet of life. And word-of-mouth goodwill is the best and the cheapest form of advertising. For most of my adult life I've either been in small business, or my income has been commission related. I know that survival depends on being businesslike and keeping a firm eye on costs, but anytime you can afford it, it's just a great feeling to spread a little good fortune amonst those who are disadvantaged.
