After about 5 hrs on the phone and 30 calls later have finally i think sorted out our flights. We luckily have now been changed to Garuda flights ??? how this works who knows but coming back den-darwin with Garuda then qantas dar-adel. Problem was then with the paid tickets have now changed to garuda but have to then get a separate qantas ticket from dar-adel. what a pain.Aust airlines had seats on the flights via melb or syd but no ff seats so couldnt get us on there but did the Garuda ones a bit strange since theyre not an affiliated airline.Only bonus is weve now got 2 exta nights in bali but of course also need to alter accomm...
As for people trying to book ff flights to bali usually need to start looking as soon as they come out ie 11mths 2weeks prior if special times wanted as minimal dates available and theyre booked really quickly. .
