Just a thought. I have heard many people suggest the HR Hotel to use their pool. I agree it is great. However, I discovered that if you want something a little quiter and the best ocean view in bali - then I suggest the Bali Cliff Hotel. You get charged around 100,000 rup for the 'hire of the towel'. (must use their towel.) But the 100000 rup you pay can be spent at the bar, restaurant or anywhere in the hotel. Let me say that the day spent in the pool with breath taking 180 degree ocean view is awesome. A couple of bintang, a few cocktails and lunch - there goes your 100000 rup. It's the best $14 AUD I've spent in a long while. Kids are welcome. Oh and I forgot to mention use of their small private beach.....
