Whatever you think is a good deal and the seller agrees is the right price. That is how I operate. Don't screw the price down to the point that you see desperation on their faces. Go hard but don't go too far.

Having said that, we saw priced perfumes in Hardy's at Sanur for 30000 - 40000rp, and got the same on Jl Benesari in Kuta after a vigorous (but good humored) exchange.

Watches should be 35000-40000.

Clothing? see how you go.

Remember, have fun bargaining but make sure the shop person is enjoying it too and not being ripped off, you see it in their eyes.
