check out the tegal sari hotel, we are staying in may and it comes very highly recommended by heap of forum contributors. Its really reasonable price and airconditioned, surrounded by rice paddies etc, looks fantastic for the price. although not sure about interconnecting rooms, you will have to check that. But I know families etc stay there so they will be able to sort something out I am sure. enjoy ubud its fantastic - make sure you go to indus restuarant for dinner, the views are amazing (next to pita maha resort).
