We've had heaps of problems at the Jayakarta with their rooms - toilets leaking; aircon not working; a generator outside the room; 3rd floor instead of ground floor etc etc. Each time I've explained the problem and they always seem to be able to come up with something better (sometimes takes a while looking at different rooms.) To get an upgrade we had to pay, but that was ok because we wanted to move from the apartments to be closer to pools etc so didn't mind paying. Can't imagine when things are busy that you'll get a free upgrade but good luck and have a great holiday.
