Hi Fresh,
Fantastic hotel, spent 5 nights their in April 2004 as part of our honeymoon.
The architect of this hotel should be appluaded for his work. Some how managed to design a hotel that is modern in it's concept (clean lines, uncluttered),but blends so well with the surrounding area with it's use of wood, stone and gardens.
The staff were fantastic, and the service included heaps of little things like individual towels at the pool when you sit down with cold water and little treats all included in the price. Did not notice this white their, but despite a lot of staff going about their business the resort has been designed so that they can move around the resort with out being noticed. This just added to sense of relaxation and privacy.
Make sure you head down to the spa area by the river. Even if you don't use the spa facilities you can still use the pool and restaurant during the day and no kids under the age of 16 are allowed. They have great hide out's that you can set yourself up and spend the day in by the pool relaxing. The spa it's self is amazing as the treatment rooms are spread out along the river.
Just writing about it makes me think about our return in April next year, cant wait to stay again.
