Folks, I didn't intend to cause such a ruckus over the article. cliff, I think we're straight and our sentiments are the same. Maggs, "why bother?"....conduct a search right here on this forum and you will find that there are several posts in which people have inquired about using, or getting drugs in Bali....and again, I simply posted to inform...you know? insight NOT incite. Sergio, I'm not sure of your position with regards to attractiveness of the defendant. There is a 50+ year old, haggard lady that is currently being held in a Tijuana prison regarding a case that is almost identical to this one. Only hers involved a pinata stuffed with marijuana that "she wasn't aware" was in there. I think the article is suggesting an angle that should maybe be considered. That is that someone who might have access to bags was intending on smuggling their "goods" on someone elses belongings and hoping for whoever they're in cahoots with, would be able to retrieve their goods on the other end. It happens here at the Mexican border all the time. That's why there are signs when you cross into the US from Mexico advising people NOT to carry bags or packages for others under any circumstances. Some people are naive that this is even a possibility and have taken bags for "little old ladies" that "needed assistance" with their bags....only to find out later that they've been set up as a "mule" to attempt to clear customs. It happens, it's real and I just thought it would be wise to know.
