Coz that's about the only culture issue here. I'm not sure that buying Japanese cars means that Australians are embracing Eastern culture.
The three examples in this thread are:
Some pearls that are moved from one place to another.
A multinational company that aims for worldwide homogeniety of its products, which aids the homogeniety of cultures.
And a New Zealander with an identity crisis. (Or maybe he's become a multinational individual -- I'm all for that.)
It is great to have little pieces of the whole world here in Australia. Which makes me wonder why there are still so many xenophobes here who support keeping refugees locked up (some are going on six years now).
