is probably my favourite along the Sanur strip. It's been there since around 1974 (my dad took the first ever group that stayed there).
Couple of lovely restaurants in the hotel, but you would be paying 5 star prices - well worth it for a treat.
Just outside Sanur Beach Hotel is Donald's Restaurant - one on the road and one on the beachfront. Nice, simple and cheap food.
Around the corner is Cat and Fiddle - owned by the Honorary British Consul.
Along the beachfront (past Donald's and before Bali Hyatt) is Stiff Chili - excellent food and exceedingly reasonable price.
Sanur is a great place to stay. Has some good music places, particularly jazz, and doesn't have the same number of tourist louts.
