Some rooms are very good, others are truly awful. We didnt use the main pool much, it was small and cold and only about 6 lounge chairs which needed replacement. Breakfast was always chaos, always running out of bread, plates, cups etc etc. Mozzies quite bad and the shutter doors let them in. We liked the courtyard of our second room (we had to shift because of dog noise and unpleasant room) and the outside shower in this room was good. Very clean and sheets chagned regularly, although this seemed to be up to the staff as some rooms were not cleaned properly. The restaurant and bar was very expensive.
The lane is a bit tricky at night if you have little kids. Take a torch.
It is good value but basic accomodation and will suit some fine, but there are some rooms anyone would reject - just be clear if you dont like the first room you are shown that you want to move, and you will be fine.
