I have just been warned that there is a group of persons acting as Immigration Officials calling persons on student, tourism & also prospective spousal type visa's in Australia, requesting monies to be depositied into bank accounts or else visa's will be cancelled.
Luckily my friend whose hubby is a Indo national but Aust resident called Immigration to get details of this call. Most cases have been reported in Adelaide, but this couple live in Melb.
They are not targeting Indonesians but ANYONE on a visa in Australia.
Please don't let any be fooled, call & check with Immigration...
