some "drivers" will say they can fit 7 people, yet you find your almost sitting on each other. Better to get a bus big enough for say 12 people (and when I say 12 this includes 2 in the front, so you actually have 10 seats). It is better for a full day out to be comfortable - not all squished up together.
Sure you can pay say Rp250K but you will get Rp250k of service. I would suggest you pay a bit more, get a guide AND a driver together (this way the guide can speak to you and tell you all about the things you are passing). If you just have a driver, most don't have a full understanding of the history and culture (and usually their English is not so good). Pay peanuts - Get monkeys.
Always check and make sure you know what your getting - go with someone reputable - and make sure there is a driver and a guide (preferably registered). Also the bus should be licenced to carry tourists (look for the S as the last letter on the end of the number plate). If you want some extra info, just send us an e-mail.
