driver who was trying to win our business for the next day, (we wanted to go on a day trip). He was very helpful and I don't remember the name of the restaurant he took us to. I was sort of happy to pay for the 2Kg lobster I ordered and ate ($75.00) until I realised back in Kuta I could have had lobster for half the price. It was good to go there and see it after all the talk about it on the forum, but I don't think I would go back again. It was also very smokey from all the different restaurants cooking and we came home reaking of smoke which then permeated all the hotel room.
I certainly don't mind paying commission or tipping people in Bali. They are trying to make a living and we earn so much more than most of them.
