My friends always say I take too much but on each trip I've always come across one of my friends or someone in the hotel wanting something and I've always come through with the goods. Better safe than sorry I always say. I'll just list a few things other wise you'll be reading ALL day!
30+ & RID are a must. RID has an ingredient called DEET in it and is more affective than Aeroguard.
After Sun Gel. The spray ones with Aloe Vera are the best because if you are quite burnt, you don't really have to go through the pain of rubbing it in. Keep it in the fridge and it will really cool you down.
Gastrolyte. Its a sachet you add to water to rehydrate yourself. The packet says its to rehydrate you after the onslaught of bum piss but I take one every second day as a precaution and to rehydrate myself. I've fainted in Bali before so your hydration is VERY important as it can do extreme damage. If you want to know more, then ask cos its very dangerous!
Stingoes & Dettol. I always end up using one or the other for something. Not that I'm anal (pardon the pun) but after a good burst of a Bali Belly germ infested toilet visit, I wipe the toilet down with Dettol. It sounds very Stepford Wife but its prevented my mates I've shared rooms with getting ill and its just to be sure, especially if its a nasty bug.
Charcoal Tablets/Imodium. Lots of people will give you different advice on Bali Belly or Bum Piss as I call it. You can ride out the storm or clog yourself up. I prefer the clog method so I can keep on eating and most importantly, DRINKING! I have found Charcoal tablets work the best for me but we are all different. They basically absorb everything in your stomach and stop the runs but be warned - charcoal tablets equal charcoal shyte! Don't be scared.
Band Aids
Panadol/Nurofen
Berocca
I think that covers the usual crap aside from deoderant, soap etc.
