and the claim was they were trying to breed these poor creatures in an attempt to save them from extinction, crap, they were using them to turn a dollar, poor young ones were kept in concrete tanks and the breeding stock were penned in a small lagoon. Then to make things less enjoyable (if that was possible) one pretty nasty lady who had a shop there trying to sell turtle shell combs etc. spat at my wife (and scored a direct hit) because she would not buy anything. It stil has me wondering now if the intention was to preserve the species, why sell the their by-products? Left as quick as possible and have not been tempted to return since.
