dont worry - I had to ask too. JBR means just back report, where people tell about their trips when they get back. From what everyone else had said book all your tours when your there - it's way cheaper. Tours that get advertise in oz for $90 people have paid $35-$60 for over there. I'm not sure if you have to actually book for the elephant ride though. With the wood I think it's more the bugs in the wood that customs are worried about (borers, etc), so some good tips we've got were check for little holes in the wood and banging statues and seeing if any dust type stuff comes out. hope that helps!
