Hiya
If you don't really want to share the pool with too many people, then you're really going to love (NOT) the bathroom at the Hai Tide Huts - its a share job! Yuk...
I'm reading what you're after and I really think NL Resort is going to give you what you're after.
For starters, the pool is horizon edge droppingto the sea at the bottom of the cliff, majic view. You'll be sharing it with a max of 11 couples only. They had to get a rope & tackle to get us out of there. (Beb 04) No kids. Civilized dining & drinky poos - all with this amazing view. The villa is outstanding. Huge courtyard bathroom, and the front porch is magical to dance on in the rain - talk about romantic. They include transfer with Sail Sensations and usually have a stay3/pay 2 incl breakfast deal. You won't be disappointed. P.S. NO DAY TRIPPERS to disturb you. Its bliss.
Don't forget to go to Paneda view restaurant at Devils Tear for tea, especially if there is going to be a sunset.

Back in Bali - I haven't got enough experience of all the places to pick a winner. We stayed at Villa Kubu (villa IV). It happened to be the cheapest villa we could find with its own private (8x4) pool. US185 - incl anything cooked for breakfast, and internet, with a bit more off thru San Michele. Built for two, I could go on about this place forever. Don't get it mixed up with other 'kubus'. www.villakubu.com Bintang supermarket just up the street, then you can pour a drink, put the music on and hibernate for a few days if you want to.....
