I just thought I'd share this with you guys because it brings a smile to my face each and every morning. My name is Amanda and I'm from Northern Ireland. I am originally from Fermanagh but I'm studing at Queens university. Four days a week I travel from Belfast to the Maine lab in Portaferry - a one and a half hours drive. I've been making the journey since september but the other morning something caught my eye. Just outside Newtonards on the banks of Strangfrod Lough is a house named 'Bali Hai'(coincidently it wasn't raining at the time which is probably why I seen it at all). Every morning it makes me think of all the good times I had in Bali and all the wonderful people I met . I think this a prime example of the way in which Bali really seems to stay with you for such a long time, even long after you've returned home.
