We sent money to a friend in Bali once and found throught the bank it was too expensive and was told by our bank its not guaranteed to make it into our friends account, if it didnt and had to be returned to our account for this we would also be charged, so the bank told me all up we could be looking at paying approx $60 AUD to just send money there so instead we did a western union transfer and that cost i think from memory $14 and it is almost an immediate transfer.
