Kristy,
Hi, we just got back from trip with our two year old. We bought a $30 umbrella stroller from target to take instead of our great big three wheel jogger. I did actually see people there with the twin joggers and they would certainly handle the pavement and roads better but we found no real problems. Certainly having to fold a great big pram and get it anywhere would be a pain I believe. Totally up to you. Also the pram will need a really good scrub when it gets home!
Nappies are widely available at larger supermarkets, you will pay same price as in Australia. I paid about 115 000rp for a pack of pampers. The nappies are smaller so you may have a bit of trouble finding a size big enough for three y.o. - I had to get biggest size for my 2y.o.
I would take your nappies if you have room and then you have lots more room for shopping as they use them!! You will prob need to buy more anyway if they get a little sick...
Enjoy
