just recently returned from 2 weeks with our almost 5 year old. We took a steelcraft stroller with us, bought it cheap on eBay, good sturdy wheels, and it was the best thing I did.

Yes, Matahari does sell strollers, but I had a good look at the wheels on some of these, and really didn't think they would stand up to the walking we do.

The footpaths around Kuta have (mostly) been redone, only on one side of the road though, so I found it easier to walk on that side. I don't think a twin pram would fit very well, no room for people wanting to pass, and sometimes we had to walk onto the road because of other people, cars, bikes, etc.

I also found the extra room under the pram excellent to carry drinks, wet ones, snacks, MY SHOPPING, it was just great, and our son could not have walked even half the distance we travelled, and often I would look down and he was fast asleep.

When we left I donated the pram to the Helen Flavel Foundation (sorry if the name is wrong), and after a few text messages and a phone call, Rick came and collected the pram from me.

So, I suggest, if you can buy a couple of cheap strollers that you don't want to bring home, do that. Qantas told us if we brought the pram home it would be included in our luggage allowance.
