Hi Tammy I know just how you are feeling I leave in 15 days and just can't wait!! It will be my 5th trip and i just love Bali so much. I went to Phucket and had a lovely time but you can't beat BAli for value, friendliness, food, sights, shopping, climate etc etc. My best experience is the whole holiday! The Bird Park, Reptile Park and Elephant Parks are all great place to go. Waterbom Park is excellent for water stuff. The shops and markets are fantastic. The restaurants are great. If you like mexican food you must try Poco Locos it is mint. Italian, there are quite a few different ones that are all good. Lots of the smaller Warungs are nice just look for other westerners in them that is usually a good sign. The temples and waterfalls are nice to go and see. If you don't like steps don't visit the Mother Temple as it is some sort of pilgrimage to climb up the hundereds of steps to the top!!! Bali is just like having a continuous party. Be careful of back lanes and alleys DON'T GO DOWN THEM! Some people get ripped off down them. We knew 3 young girls from Melbourne who had their money stolen off them when they thought that they were going to get their nails painted. Look forward to reading your JBR (Just Back Report)to see how you found it.
