the local branch didnt know but rang card services.
I dont know if it is only INdonesia or not but they said you need a 4 digit pin number to work. However, interestingly I have the SAME 6 digit pin number for the Commonwealth visa, and yet it worked fine.
Needless to say I was pretty p*&ssed off and am going to close the card i think.
just glad I took a spare...
I think it was one of those problems they didnt really know about until it occurred.
