I could survive on $50.00 per day but my wife could not.
Allowing for you eating not in the hotel but in the many great restauraunts in Kuta - Breckie $4.00, Lunch $10.00 and Dinner $10.00 these prices would include food and drink (possible to be cheaper if you look arround)
This would still give you $26.00 to waste on things you already have
Unfortunatly my wife and many other women (Yes and some guy's) do not think you can go with out buying excess amounts of clothing that they may never wear again. Come on now - how many of you wear all 20 sarongs you bought, and the 30 pairs of shoes in different colors- you only have 2 feet. The place mats, coasters, masks , t shirts etc etc etc.
YES YOU CAN SURVIVE AND SURVIVE WELL ON ONLY $50.00 but you will need to watch your spending, this is best done by putting your money into envelopes and mark each day on them. if you run out that's it for the day, go back to the hotel and swim in the pool and drink the supplied bottled water
