Just off the AP flight today (left DPS last night). Flew over on Friday. Plane left on time both ways and arrived early each time. I noticed on the return to Sydney the pilot in his announcement in Indonesian said we would be 20 mins early but he didn't say that when he made the followup announcement in English. I wonder why?
Flight - for an economy seat and price - was good. Bit bumpy both ways at the moment given the season but lots of food and good service.
Teenage kids were a bit shocked not have a back of seat personal entertainment unit as they have had on flights with other airlines. Spoilt buggers! Flight was pretty empty on the way over - rows of 4 seats to ourselves and absolutely full, except for one seat, on the way back. Empty seat next to me courtesy of the checkin clerk who noticed it was my birthday.
AP don't arrive with a air bridge - you get bussed to and from the plane. Not great when it's pouring!
Will definately fly with them again.
