Saying that thought we went one christmas New Year prior to the bombing and this happened, at 1st we thought omg how expensive but it was a wonderful experience one we will never forget(It was Karika Plaza Hotel) They went all out full ballroom experience all drinks included and once we were there we could see our monies worth;-)

Saying that though I still think it is ridiculous, It is nice to make your own choice. We was lucky we got our monies worth but i have heard from people who say it is a real rip off, another way to make a buck. Well i hate being charged in US$ I think you should pay the currency of the country you are in. When in America that is fine to pay their currency. This is another way they make money out of people.

I thought the hotels had stopped that since the bombing(well thats what i was told) I am going this new year and am so glad we can choose what we want to do our hotel has not made it compulsory, who knows thought we may end up there or on the beach.

Maybe this would be a good thread to see what everyone's plans are for New years eve.
