We stayed in the hotel and not the suites but they are sister hotels. They share a shuttle service that goes to the beach and shopping centres. They also run a shuttle service to Kuta each morning for a minimal fee. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Kuta from Sanur I think the most we payed to come back from Kuta from Sanur was about 50 000 but that was a really bad night when we werent feeling all that flash and just wanted to get back to hotel. We loved staying that side of the island for the peace but it still has heaps to do.
As to the discount card when we were there as there were only 2 of us we didnt think it worthwhile. It was for a week cant remember price but it gave you discount meals and drinks. If you are eating and drinking in the hotel the whole time it may be worth it to you. We ate out of the hotel alot so didnt really feel the need for it.
