Hi all , have just returned and i am truly buggered lol anyways thought l would fill you in on my holiday.
After not getting any sleep the night before we left as many dont , we were off to the airport, at 4.30 am to find no one at the Air paradise counter till 5am . we checked in with no hassles freindly staff and great service.
Met up with a couple of forumites and had breaky and waited to board.
In flight service was extremely good, food always been offered and the service was great l would fly Air Paradise again for sure.
After a long flight because we went thru Sydney (big mistake never do that again) lol, we arrived in Bali .
All went smoothly was out in about 40 mins not bad considering there were 2 or 3 flights that had arrived all at once.
WE were greeted by our driver who we had pre arranged to handle some tours for us and l must say l can recomend him to anyone, his english was fantastic, the service was also great he was more than a driver but also a tour guide, we had so many laughs that by the drive to our hotel he was calling me the crazy lady, wonder why hmmm ? LOL
The name of the company is BALI INSIGHT TOURS anyone needing info please ask.l promise they will not dissapoint.
After arriving at the hotel we checked in and again superb service at the jayakarta hotel very happy with this hotel. its huge 3 pools nice rooms and spectacular gardens. That night we met marknet and a few others at a restaurant called KE DU TA and the food was to die for!! never tasted anything like it, its a flashy plave a bit pricey for bali standards but worth every cent, a must for sure .
Day2
Puja from bali Insight tours picked us up for a shopping tour of denpesar, he took us to the major big stores like Matahari and ramayana and boy what shopping we did, they had fantastic sales some thing over 75% off make up was very cheap if you wear revelon.
Revelon lipsticks $4 aus dollars.
after a day of shopping we were tired so off home we went, we went out to a place called the Indo national where we met up with some of the forum guys, was great meeting you all :)The food was great and very cheap .
Day 3
We were again picked up by our tour guide and went on a day of touring which included seeing the barong dance, temples, lakes tanah lot and the monkey forest, again a must, that night we went to a resuarant called the Poco Loco if you like mexican its great, again very very reasonably priced.
Ok well thats all for now just got home this morning and need to recharge my battery :)
