Smokey, I admit I had better take up massage class but I reckon I would fail!! Yep, It was good to catch up and hopefully we can do it again, not to far in the future. Meanwhile I shall watch for your posts. Good to see you haven't forgotten your geography lesson but I was a little concerned when I saw the subject line, Wheelbah is a little.
Irene, When is our next trip planned, a very good question. The last two were spur of the moment decisions and that's likely to occur again. You never know it might even be Feb!!
Yes we did see Peanuts and she is doing very well (a copy of my previous report follows)
Hi Irene & Chases.
We arrived home this morning, how depressing!!
As promised, a report on Peanuts.
After 5 days of not spotting Peanuts we were getting concerned. Our enquiry at Johni's indicated that she had been taken in by somebody and was not allowed out onto the street. The next night we were sitting in Warung Yoga when who should come walking down the street but Peanuts. I called out to her and she immediately came over. I must say she was in excellent condition and was not particularly interested in food. She eventually walked off and left some food behind. We saw her about another four times and she appears to be doing very well. Perhaps it is true that she has been takin in by somebody.
We adopted another dog we called Poser, simply because he would lay on the footpath outside Posers after dark and not move for anybody.
He responded exceptionally well to the food (dry dog food, not really keen on Pal) He would sense us coming and jup to his feet, follow us towards Garden View for his feed. He was a black dog with bald elbows and bum and very skinny.
The long awaited renovations are underway at Garden View. The last two cottages on the right hand side have been completely gutted. The first cottage should be almost complete by now but when we left they said "big problem with plumbing".
What will we do without the green cupboards, the dodgy old "sound system". From what I can make out the bathroom is being extended and the hand basin is being relocated into the bathroom. TV's will be going into the rooms, apparently the whole hotel including the restaurant is going to be remodelled over the next 18 months but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Regards
