I took the egg and a whole lot more goodies in a 9 section plastic dish. I went to the USA during the pra olympics.
I made myself my usuall savouries on my lap and asked the gentleman next to me if he would like some too . I had home made quiche slice, tuna loaf. scotch egg , pigs in blankets, not to mention the curried egg & prawns & cocktail sauce savouries . He was amazed and took plenty of photos saying his friends back home wouldn't believe him.
He was with the US para athletic team and was called back because his mother was seriously injured and not expected to live. he enjoyed afternoon tea with me too - muffins, caramel slice & fruit slice. He could only get an economy seat and laughed that the snacks beat 1st class any day.
