If you type suew into the search engine you will get my "interpretation" of the rules (ignore the "blonde moment" one haha). The problem is that there is not mileage chart on the Qantas website to allow you to calculate distances.
Currently if you fly economy you get 1 point for every airmile (used to be for every km!!) There is a chart in the back of the membership brochure that shows how many points you get for any destination, so I used that (pt=1 airmile)
The main diff now is that you don't total the number of miles you travel to calculate your zone, you now take each sector in it's entirety. Based on that Meb or Syd - Denpasar should be zone 4 so 25,000 points each way. Total 50,000. Perth - Denpasar is zone 3 so 18,000 points each way. Total 36,000 (up 6,000)
Also no stopover charges. As you pay for each individual zone there is no such thing as a stopover anymore.
Hope this helps!
