you'll find that any young person, particularly from Asia, will be looked at closely. If that person shows that they have incentive to return (unfortunately cash isn't a compelling reason), then they should be granted a visa. Incentive includes owning property or business in Indonesia, having close family (in the instance of single males or females, a fiance in Indonesia is probably the only close family considered), a secure job to which they can return, if they are in the middle of a course and have permission for a holiday, etc.

It is unfortunate that the government has to look at the number of people who either don't fulfil the visa regulations on arrival in Australia by overstaying, etc, or they then apply for migration onshore, and these people make it difficult for the genuine ones in the same age group.

Not just Indonesian females are targetted.
