and I didn't declare. They were all in sealed bags,and didn't seem to fit into any of the Customs "declarable" categories as they were dried, & not "plant", "food" or "wood". We asked about the cinnamon quills in particular at Casa Luna & they said as long as everything was dried & sealed properly it would be o.k.
BTW - went to the Narrabeen market yesterday and saw a mortar & pestle similar to mine, but a smaller size for $25, so am feeling v.smug with my $5.30 purchase!
