This question was asked a little while ago and had some good responses.
Up the top of this page is a button "search the forum" Click on it and type "gay" in the box. You will find some good info on places to visit.

When I was in Bali once I met an elderly lady. We started chatting and she said "there are a lot of gay people in Bali aren't there?" After asking why she thought this it turns out she thought a lot of the locals were gay as they often walk around holding hands. LOL
Had to laugh.
