It's not a rip off per say. It does exist and work as I have seen it in action myself.
The real question is do you need to use it. On the last three visits since the bew system I have not spent any further time in the line than when the old system worked.
In fact the last time in October this year was the quickest yet. They seemed to have made further improvements to the windows and systems.
