Sorry Aussie Angel but Didiaust is so right.
It doesnt relate to any place or any time........its truly the "holiday" in a nut shell. When U have a good time in Holiday mode its very opposite to take up residence in THAT SPOT no matter where it is !!!
When I was 18 I fell in love with Malaysia... I just wanted to "escape" home and live in a simple village...the ones that I experienced but briefly. Day in day out... would be totally different. Travel some more....theres a big world out there and alot of special places to touch your heart !! Its the simple non materialist values that you can learn the most from !!!
Im some 7 weeks back from Bali now ..yeah I read this forum often and post too, other half sais all I have is bali on my mind !! I still convert to Rupiah ??? Dah !! I still see the smiley faces of the Balinese I met.. such joy
Like u this was my first Bali experience and i know Im only 2 and bit hours away....I get frustrated as to why it took so long for me to experience a place so close from home. !!!
But it was prob a designed time for me to do so..
So go plan your next trip and visit some other Asian Countries as well.. incorp them one at a time pending your budget !!
Youll feel better in no time !!
