We have for 2 years taken medications into Bali that in Australia are illegal without prescription. First year took letter from doctor and this year took a copy of the scripts with me. This shows the name of the person that its prescribed too and the dose also it has the prescribing doctors details so if necessary they can be contacted. I also only take enough just to cover while I'm away not the whole bottle. Someone suggested have some in your luggage and some in your carry on. A lady who was on our return flight home was epileptic and the flight was delayed for 5hrs, her medication was packed on board the plane in her luggage. She asked AP staff to unload her bag so she could get to it but they could not locate it. She ended up getting home okay (thank goodness) but it could have been a very different story altogether.
