I had 2 pair of multi focals (1 pair being sunglasses) made from my prescription at Optik Melawai at Ramayana and am very happy with the quality and price. It took a week for mine to be made as my lenses need to be ground (astigmatism). However when I got back to Oz I needed the sunnies to be tightened and went in to an optometrist. During the procedure he checked them and informed me that they were tinted but not UV protected. And that they were in fact doing my eyes more damage than if I was not wearing sunnies at all. So I strongly recommend that you request UV protection when getting prescription sunnies in Bali. I just thought that all sunnies were UV protected..............silly me!!!
